Troubleshooting VoIP Phones

Message Light Stays On

If there are no new messages and the message light stays on:

  • Hang up the phone
  • Pick the receiver back up
  • When you hear a dial tone, press "*790"


Date/Time are out of Sync

If the date/time are out of sync with the actual date/time

  • Unplug the phone's Ethernet cord for 10 seconds.
  • After the phone has restarted it should give the correct date/time as it syncs with the VoIP server.
